Background

I have been in the multifamily industry for 35 years and the single-family industry for a year. I have served as an assistant manager, community manager, a senior multi-site community manager, and a regional manager. I have managed in Texas and Louisiana. I have managed in various cities throughout Texas including Dallas, Austin, Houston, and smaller East Texas cities including Tyler, Longview, and Nacogdoches.

Experience

Being in this industry for 35 years, my experience is very diverse in different markets and types of housing. Experienced in Student, Conventional, Lease-Ups, Townhomes, Single-Family Homes, Condominiums, Tax Credit, Section 8, new construction, rehabs, owner-operated, 3rd party fee-managed properties, and Class A, B, and C properties.

I graduated in December 2001 from Stephen F. Austin State University. I received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a double major in Management and Computer Information Systems with a minor in Business. An Apartment Property Supervisor Certification (CAPS) and an Apartment Management Certification (CAM) designated by the National Apartment Education Institute supports my professional background. I also hold certifications in the Microsoft Office suite of products.
